communal living

The thought of communal living has always intrigued me. It baffles me at times how sovereign Americans can be. It’s as if each family gathers everything they would ever need and stores them in their garage for rare use. Does everyone seriously need a leafblower?

If living together, or sharing bathrooms, with other families doesn’t catch your interest, I would encourage you to think about other ways you could pool your resources with friends, family, and neighbors. How cool would it be if you and your friends had community tools, so each individual didn’t have to go and buy their own socket wrench set?

I like to believe that time and money would be saved and we’d have another excuse to reach outside ourselves and engage with our community around us. Just sayin’.

Kohl… I never knew you had a blog. It is a pretty dang good one too. I like this video. I hope you consider this stuff for later on in life when the apartment life gets old. Cool Beans Man!
