This crew of guys is driving a message to corporate America… literally. This small group of revolutionaries is made up of members from Krochet Kids intl., SEW creative & Patrick Meade Jones, and they are on a cross-country trip from Orange County, CA to Detroit, MI. The case they are building along the way – through community gatherings and events in Salt Lake, Denver, Omaha, Chicago & Detroit – is that large corporations can create both a personal and relevant connection to their consumers through engaging in issues they care about.

The end to this epic journey will be a meeting with Ford Motor Company, and these gentlemen will get to share there experiences of how a diverse group of communities responded and rallied around the work that Krochet Kids intl. is doing. Such a partnership as this, between resource & knowledge rich corporate America and grassroots organizations, could come to serve as a new model for corporate America.

What do you think? Do you believe a huge conglomerate like Ford could actually create more personal connections with you and I?

They are on the last leg of their trip – Chicago to Detroit- and we shall soon find out.
