On a recent trip to Seattle I found myself at a bar singing karaoke. Flipping through the pages of an endless white binder causes 2 distinct emotions… 1) nostalgia for songs that once spoke into your soul, and 2) anxiety as you have to choose only one (or 2 or 3) to bring back to life.
I must say my friend Baird hit the nail on the head with his selection though. For better or worse, I have woke up to this song repeating in my head since that night. The root cause I’m still not sure of. Perhaps his stellar performance is to blame, but nonetheless, it reminded me of how blatantly awesome music in the 1990′s was.
