For the second consecutive year my friends and I headed out to Joshua Tree National Park to celebrate my birthday. I couldn’t help but feel extremely blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful landscapes and even more amazing people.

If you ever have a chance to make it out to J-tree, do it. It’s a different kind of national park experience (at least it was for me, being from the Northwest), but I couldn’t recommend it more. The rock formations and endless exploration opportunities which result are incredibly fun. You could go to the same area multiple times and still discover new nooks and crannies you hadn’t seen before.

Below are a few photos that I captured with my iPhone. All are edited using VSCO cam.
