Travel is really important to my wife and I. Throughout our relationship we have been blessed with opportunities to see the world and experience new cultures that have shaped us — individually and as a couple. This trip to Paris was no exception. Amy had been wanting to go, and since this year was her golden birthday we were given the perfect excuse (as if we needed one).

We stayed in the Marais neighborhood and traveled by metro, bus, foot, boat, bike, and train to see as much of the city as possible. It truly is a magnificent place. We were awestruck by the beauty of every side street and the grandeur of the gardens. Paris is truly a “must-see” travel destination and we give it 4 thumbs up.

Special thanks to… Air BnB, Alaska Airlines Mileage Program, and Rick Steves’ audio guided museum tours.
