From Infinity, Be One

I loath trade shows. I have a) been burned by attending too many that simply have bad attendance, b) realized how inefficient of a way it is to attract new business and c) paid way too much money to participate in said shows.

Ok. I got the negative stuff out of the way. I had a more positive trade show experience this past week, so I thought I would share about it…

My business partner and I attended a trade show in Long Beach, CA this past week, but this one was quite a bit different than the ones we’re used to. We work in the fashion industry, producing and selling ethically made clothing, so most trade shows we’ve attended are for attracting buyers and are very fashion-y. This show was very much industry focused, meaning it was more of a business-to-business event.

My friends from SEW creative just moved into a rad new spot in downtown LA. And mark my words… this will be a place where dreams come true.

I’m inspired by their tenacity and vision to bring social awareness and consciousness to corporate america through creativity and community. They’re doing it right. I’d recommend them for any campaign you have or problem you can’t solve, even if it is related to how to assemble a shop vac.
